Tajmahal tour by local During our Tajmahal tour we first visited the famous garden of Agra called Ram Bagh. Our local guide in Agra taught full history of this Ram Bagh on this Agra tour. It was originally called Aram Bagh which means rest garden. When mongol turk Babur invaded India then he created this garden over here at the bank of river Yamuna to rest before killing the many into wars for kingdom of Delhi and Agra. Our Local guide in Agra -Oral Historian & storyteller Sandeep narrated a story about Babur’s character.
Babur spent very harsh childhood. His father passed away in an accident in Uzbekistan and he became the King accidentally. Many of you will be happy if you get the kingdom but this event brought tough time for Babur. He was only 11 years old. He was also brutal and deadly like his ancestor Tamerlane from Turkmenistan. He was very fond of swimming and he swam every river of the city which he looted. He could give strong competition to the Micheal phelps in swimming.
At the age of 47 when he died he was buried here at Ram Bagh. Later his body was transferred to Kabul which was also visited by our late prime minister Indira Gandhi and her great grandson Mr Rahul Gandhi. Turks are not shown as villains in the India history books due to the love of previous ministers after Indian indigence in 1947 who followed the religion Islam and communism. They always had soft corner for turks of Afghanistan and turks of Uzbekistan. But the books written by Mughals and the traveler’s who travelled from China, French and Europe has sufficient chronicles which proves that turks have done more damage then goods for locals of India.
Ram Bagh also looks like four square garden of paradise. This concept of Paradise Babur copied from Persia modern day Iran. Tajmahal also has same style of gardens but at very large extent. walking here in this garden is peaceful and the bank of river Yamuna also throws cool air on our faces and body. Out side the garden you can see chaotic traffic of the city but inside it is totally opposite.
Our Oral historian & Storyteller said that he took keen interest in history, art and literature. He was bisexual and attracted towards a boy called Baburi. He used to throw wine and opium parties for his generals. His arrival became very beneficial for Rajput kings of Jaipur & Kings of Jodhpur & Jaisalmer. These kingdoms made their most of the money during Mughal rule and later east india company rule by becoming their allies and marrying their daughters to Mughals. Babur’s great grandson Jahangir was born to Hindu princes of Jaipur and Shahjahan born to Hindu princess of Jodhpur.
Hindu kings of North india had miniature kingdoms and small armies while Babur attacked with Canons. Hindu kings of north india were brave and excellent warriors but infant of the gunpowder canons their bravery was waste. Babur during his conquest of north india brought 800 canons from ottomans of turkey. He kept the small canons on the back of camels and reached in the battle ground of Delhi. he kept his canons in the centre of the battle ground and sent his army from left and right. Battle started at 7 o clock in the morning and was finished by 11 am. He won the battle and reached Agra at Ram Bagh (which he founded) after few days to seize the Agra fort from where muslim king Ibrahim Lodhi used rule the Delhi and Agra. Narration of all agra & Mughal history was amazing by our Oral historian & storyteller
3Here at Agra fort he got gemstone Kohinoor as a gift by the Hindu king family of Gwalior as the token of friendship. After seeing this large and big diamond which he never saw in life. He said I will no go back to the poverty of Kabul and Uzbekistan, I will stay in India.
All of these narrations of history made our Agra tour package awesome. We new that we hired the tajmahal tour by local guide -india tour
